How Taken Kenalog Aerosol

Wash your hands after applying Kenalog Aerosol Solution, unless your hands are part of the treated area.
Shake the container well before using a dose. Hold the container 3 to 6 inches (8 to 15 cm) from the infected area and spray lightly.
Do not wrap or otherwise cover the treated area with bandages or wear tight-fitting clothing unless specifically directed by your doctor. Do not use tight-fitting diapers or plastic pants on children using Kenalog Aerosol Solution in the diaper area.
If you miss a dose of Kenalog Aerosol Solution, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.

Do not eat or drink immediately after applying Kenalog. If you are pregnant, may become pregnant or are breast feeding, you should speak to your doctor before using this product.

No serious systemic side effects are expected unless a large amount of Kenalog Aerosol is used for a long period of time. If the drug is being absorbed by the body, you may experience blurred vision, halos around lights, an irregular heartbeat, insomnia, mood changes, weight gain, or fatigue. If you experience any unusual side effects, notify your doctor.
Less serious side effects are more likely to occur. You may experience some redness, blistering, burning, itching, or peeling of the skin being treated. Continue to use Kenalog Aerosol and talk to your doctor.
Other local side effects may also occur, especially with prolonged use of Kenalog Aerosol. These include thinning of the skin, prolonged redness, and stretch marks.
Side effects other than those listed here may also occur. Talk to your doctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome.

Store Kenalog Aerosol Solution at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Store away from heat, light, and moisture. Do not puncture, break, or burn container even if it appears empty. Keep Kenalog Aerosol Solution out of the reach of children and away from pets.
